OZG Cloud: Digital Blueprint for Municipalities from Schleswig-Holstein

The OZG Cloud, commissioned by the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the IT-Verbund Schleswig-Holstein (ITV.SH) and developed under open source license, offers municipalities the possibility to process applications from online services independently. The application is developed as an EfA solution and can be used and thus reused throughout Germany. The first pilot projects in other German states have already started.

Master thesis: Potential analysis of software development with low code platforms in public administration

This master's thesis examines the potential of low-code platforms for software development in public administration. For this purpose, an empirical study was conducted on the basis of expert interviews in order to identify the advantages, prerequisites and challenges of the use of low code platforms. The analysis is based on the example of the low code platform A12 from mgm technology partners and its relevance in the context of OZG implementation.

eGovernment Computing Readers’ Choice: mgm again wins the platinum award

At the top of the podium for the second time in a row: Again in 2022, the Readers' Choice Platinum Award in the "Consultant" category goes to mgm. The winners in the ten categories were officially announced yesterday evening at the festive awards ceremony in Berlin. For seven years now, the "Readers' Choice Awards" have been announced by the trade magazine eGovernment Computing of Vogel IT-Medien.

Jury selects MODUL-F for 1st place in the eGovernment Competition 2022

The renowned eGovernment competition was held for the 21st time. Yesterday evening, the MODUL-F team was jubilant at the finale: first place was awarded by the expert jury in the category "Best Cooperation Project 2022", as well as third place from the public vote. All in all, great recognition for the team members from the Hamburg Senate Chancellery, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and for Home Affairs, mgm and Dataport.

einfachELSTER: Income tax return in ten minutes for all those who receive a pension...

There are about six million taxpayers of retirement and pension age. They also have to file an income tax return if their annual income exceeds the basic allowance. With the new einfachELSTER service of the tax administration in the KONSENS project, there is now a special online service: with the service, many pensioners and retirees can complete their electronic tax return in just a few steps.

mgm once again nominated for the eGovernment Computing Awards

As the defending champion from last year mgm is once again up for election for the "eGovernment Computing Readers Choice Award". The event is organized by the trade journal "eGovernment Computing" of Vogel IT-Media and will culminate in the awards ceremony at the end of September in Berlin, Germany. Voting for the readers' choice starts today, April 29, 2022, and ends in July.
